Pat Tillman joined the Army Rangers and served several tours in combat before he was killed in the mountains of Afghanistan. At first, the Army reported that Pat Tillman had been killed by enemy fire. ... Pat Tillman was posthumously promoted from specialist to corporal. He also received posthumous Silver Star and Purple Heart medals.

 

 

He was a model human, a good example for young athletes, and a pretty darn good football player, too. But Tillman does not belong in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Perhaps, had he finished his career, he would have built a résumé that would justify a Hall of Fame induction, but he did not do so.

 

 

HOF and one of my fav QBs has gone absolutely mad...

I will not be watching (for the 1st time in decades) most Major sports this coming season (I know of many that agree w/me & the players, owners, commissioners, etc. have brought this on themselves) & possibly from now on 😞
