Greatest Serial Killer Movies

Serial killer movies are one of my favorite movie genres (or rather sub-genre, as they are mostly confined to either the thriller or horror genre).

The best of them often present sharp social commentary and character study and go beyond the obvious thrills and nail biting suspense they provide.

IMO it's a much better movie than Psycho and we have to thank Mr. Scorsese for giving it its proper due. I own the out-of-print Criterion DVD and hopefully a Blu-ray upgrade is down the line.

It's a tough call for me. I love both.

 

I really hope it gets a Blu-ray upgrade though. I'd love to own it.
