Time to say "Hello"

Hello MP! 😉

 

I decided to finally and shortly introduce myself.

 

I am new to the Steelbook world. I found and decided to join this community because of the rumor about potential HDZeta release for the Lord of the Rings trilogy in 4K, that's how I found out about GB etc. Years ago I had LOTR extended editions, 4DVD for FOTR, 4DVD for TTT to which at later time I got also the box from 5DVD edition + extra DVD and Gollum's figure. Somehow I never decided to get ROTK as at that time it felt already that DVDs have no much bright future left...

 

What made me get my first Blu-ray SteelBook was the recent release of SW:ANH. At this moment I don't have even home theatre or 4k player, but I am thinking about slowly getting / building it. So you can say that was a spontaneous purchase, one little stone which started the avalanche. I really enjoy looking for information about different releases, WEA, WWA, although for the purpose of collecting I want to stick for now with more common 4K editions - Zavvi's Star Wars 4K, Titans of Cult (I really like Mad Max:FR), maybe Marvel, plus single non franchise movies which I enjoy.

 

MP seams like a great community so I hope to be an integral part of it 😀

Yeah, I hear you, I’m a collector too that started w/Best Buy/Target exclusives that really got me into the Premium editions (I started way back though  & gradually upgraded from VHS to DVD to BD to 4K oh my 🤣). then I was fortunate to find out about this terrific forum MP from another forum I followed & MP took over my #1 place since March ‘19 hey 👋 

 

 

I’m who is referred to as the “consigliere” on MP and the Ol’ American guy 😆 (Ol’ Veum is me) because I do enjoy communicating with all the peeps!😊
