We're very happy to introduce to you our newest Media Psychos Exclusive Product. This was originally developed to be an extra item for the UHD Club Interstellar release. However, the total cost of TARS is too high and UC had to drop this idea from being included into their release.

 

So we're proud to pick this up and bring it to you members as an Media Psychos Exclusive.

 

@ksosk worked with a supplier to make a workable model of the TARS robot. It has a magnetic mechanism with 4 movable limps. The final product will be made of aluminium.

 

The final price has not been set yet our current estimate is between $50 - $60. Premium members will receive the special discount associated to their tier rank.

 

Update: Dimensions are 150X60X15MM made of Aluminium with a weight of 0,334 kg.

Will it be painted to look like in the movie, or will it be matte grey scale like straight off a 3d printer? Hoping at that price the final edition is,well, more final.

That makes the difference for me and the uhd edition, since I have the other release

We are going for a metallic mid-shiny colour with added sand texture for an extra feel on hand!

This is not the completed TARS yet.

Yeah, that's TARS!

However, HDzeta only made a piece of metallic paper Tars.

Ours will be a functional display model 😃

It will probably be too big for that, so I'm guessing the answer is no..

Yeah, very highly a no.

HDzeta made that folder for the soundtrack and not Tars. 

Plus, ours will come with a nice box too 😃

In my days on the building sites, when men were men, we used to use my dick as a gauge rule. 

4 courses to 300mm. 
So, using my dick as a set point, I’d say it will be 150mm
