Fave "Monster" Survey

Recommended Posts

More of a survey than a "quizz" so if I've put this in the wrong place, Mods, please rectify. 🙂

Thinking about the disappointing Terminator :Dark Fate film had me wondering, what are my fave "monsters" from cinema?

Now, there's a lot of bad guys in film so I'd like to narrow this down if I may;

- only non-humans, so a vampire or demon possession would qualify but Jack The Ripper would not

- eras are broken into decades (i.e. 1900-1910, 1910-1920, etc all the way up to 2020)

- 2 FILMS per ERA, so, two per decade, this could make things tricky

- if you love the monster but hate the film, you can still mention the film it's from

- if the monster is in successive films, only the first appearance need be mentioned, unless drastically altered (i.e. Alien in the '79 flik and Queen Alien in the '86 would both qualify)

- creations (i.e. Frankensteins's Monster, Terminator T-800, Jurassic Park dinosaur) do qualify and if you feel strongly that the T-800 and T-1000 are unique, so be it).

- does NOT need to take place on earth (i.e. all type of aliens qualify)

- normal animals can qualify if their actions are totally out of normal character (i.e. Cujo would qualify but Scar from Lion King would not, shark from 'Jaws'? up to you... )

- feel free to be creative, if something struck you as monstrous but others may not agree, no worries, their loss (i.e. the flying  monkeys in Wizard of Oz scare the hell out of me!, heh)

- Please, name the monster and the film (or TV show)

Here... we... Go!  (*feel free to copy/paste format for convenience, heh) [if you don't have one for a particular decade, you can leave it blank)
