Aw, this is the loveliest welcome I've ever received on a forum.

Thanks guys, and for all of the handy links! Looking forward to taking part in some group buys. I've been paying out of the nose for a lot of premium steelbooks because I was unaware GB's are the way to go and staying up waiting for orders to go live on sites doesn't work!

Just got my one-click of John Wick 3 from Ebay today, hoping the next order of mine is form this site!

Hi @Garypool and welcome to MP. A lot of us have been exactly where you are. I started with getting a few premiums on eBay and then tried direct which was usually a disaster (as you know!). When I found MP it was a godsend. No more stress or button mashing at 2am 😅

 

Just a quick tip until you’re up to speed on the rules. Don’t join any GBs unless you are absolutely sure. If unsure then wait for the beauty shots to be released. Dropping out is not allowed. There is usually plenty of time to make a decision but you need to check in here frequently as sometimes things move fast once the beauty shots are released (24-48 hours). Not all the time, just sometimes! Feel free to ask questions by tagging one of the staff in a thread (for example @deckard99) or by private message (PM). Hope you have fun and enjoy it here! 😃👍

I have a question in regards to the Umania Joker. It's currenty listed as on pause, what does this typically mean and does this frequently happen?

I also understand that for the first three purchases I'll have to make a deposit that'll be refunded once the full payment has been made, it made mention of a one-click and single deposit but the links to both of these were broken so not entirely sure with that.

In regards to joining a groupbuy before the beauty shots are out, I've no problem with joining and then not being able to back out as I'll a hundred percent be joining ones I know I'll want regardless of designs. The only question regarding this I have is if I join a group buy and state I'll be wanting at least one of the single editions, once the beauty shot comes out am I able to change it to a one-click or to put an additional single edition on? I don't have to join a group buy before a beauty shot and guess which edition will be the one I want?

It can happen for a lot of reasons . Package shots  to retailers  requests , information updates.  

 

Frequently I have never kept count.  It's just part of the furniture when our Head Psychos need it ❤

That part of the system is broken for now so there will he an announcement at some point going forward  .

YES.  ALL IS UPDATED AS WE FIND OUT THE INFORMATION.

 

THE ONLY THING THAT IS FROWNED UPON IS NOT TAKING AN EDITION

 NO ONE Guesses we update as soon as we can . 

 

Some retailers editions are extremely saught after and the sooner you join the better chance you have of being served.  This is in very rare cases

yes Umania Joker is paused at the moment. We have limited quantity so we are allowing premium members only to join right now in a separate GB. Depending on the numbers we may be able to reopen  the regular GB. 
 

and yes as Ann said, changes and additions are fine until we close the GB. Once we close no more changes can be allowed.
