As CM is able to use any art in their releases, they will have an advantage to their slips.

You should go for it if the art appeals to you!

 

Else, I know Manta will likely be the only retailer that can come out with a very different release

I feel the same as you, the beauty shots that have been released already from the different retailers have looked amazing.

 

The only thing holding me back is I didn't love the movie enough to want so many copies. So I believe I will be able to hold out until HDZeta releases their's. It's hard though. I wasn't expecting so many nice sets for this movie!

I am weak with this one, so after U'Mania One Click, I know I want the boxset of this one too and probably will take the Mantalab and possibly HDZeta... On top, the Mrs loved the movie so she won't be upset in me going full on crazy with this title!

Nothing is final until HDZ announces officially, but they are aiming for a gold release.

Just contacted Manta earlier regarding their Joker. Won't be expecting a reveal this month unfortunately but John is working hard on making a good release for this film.

 

As Warner goes, they don't welcome new ideas or fresh designs. 

This film is very likely going to be a multibuy release so maybe aim for a single edition per retailer 😊

Perhaps they’ll eventually decide to sell the FS separately like they recently did with The Shining.

Although that isn't the retailer's plan, I guess anything is possible. If there is any change we'll make an announcement here.

The full slip is the *only* version of this title that I've seen that I'd buy. I sure hope they will break it out of the 1-click.

 

I got the Blufans Spider-verse 1-click to get the full slip, and there have been several full slips available on ebay, so I may have to go that way.
