We currently have an Early-bird Registration GB running, to get more requests for Forrest Gump. Anyone interested in The Wizard of OZ can secure his copy here before the GB starts. Interesting for every member Group. Your position will be safe and no one can knock you off that list anymore. Don't forget this will be limited to 501 copies and has a larger Fan following, they might be gone fast.

You not only have a copy secured you also help a good cause (which will benefit all MP members in the future if we reach our goal 😊). At the moment we need requests for Forrest Gump E1 & E2 the most 😅

Ok, that's a nice selection of photo cards in this set. It includes the Kodachrome publicity stills that were also part of the three-disc DVD collector's set, which is my favorite release of this film. The only thing I'd like also included in this set is the original lobby cards.

This could be one of those releases that's basically a draw with HDz. And now I'm really hoping there are enough in the GB for all of us who are on the list.

Meh!

It looks ok. But it’s yet another copy of the film that I never wanted in the first place.

At least it’s a low print run. But should have been a lot lower. :D

I can understand you don’t like a classic, b/c Europeans probably did not grow up with this amazing masterpiece every year on the tube (but we did & we love it... & if you did, no excuse then)... 😞 for those that don’t/can’t enjoy Wizard of Oz...

Watched the first few minutes when I was younger.
Reached for the off button very quickly.
Never had any intention of revisiting either.

You know, I was just counting down the minutes until you popped in and reminded us how you don't like old classic films. Thanks for not disappointing! ;)

Unfortunately for me the two retailers that I mainly collect decided to release it. (HDz and FA/BB)

I don’t mind if retailers like Zavvi or Best Buy want to release dusty old crap like this, because then I wouldn’t have to buy it.
But I have a copy of HDz and will have 2 x copies of Barons. None of which will ever see the light of day. Except for a fleeting second on their way to an eBay customer in years to come.

There are classic old films and then there are ancient rubbish ones. Oz sits in the latter for me. It should have stayed in the past where it belongs.
Just my opinion of course. Other opinions are available. ;)
