It might take some time but HDZeta has been pretty good about moving their silvers along. Once we get more info on the time-frame for this new batch we'll post an update.

this new wave of Silver announced recently are for 2020 probably within Feb - Apr period. 

In China, the retailers usually have the slips done up faster than the discs can arrive. Therefore, so long there is no delay with the disc shipment then the release should be as scheduled!

Gutted. 😔

 

I was really looking forward to this release.

 

I can live without discs like previous editions, as these can be picked up elsewhere....

 

I'd even buy the empty Slip with booklet if that option was available - like with the empty Hdzeta Blade Runner 2049 DL and 4K editions...

 

(And yes I know Hdzeta only did that because it was after the proper release, also they had a few left over, demand was high etc .....)

 

I would be happy to buy just the Hdzeta slip and booklet. Can just pick up the new 4k steelbook off Internet or put in the previous bluray steel.

 

 

I dont expect everyone to agree  with me on this but just throwing some feedback out there.

Without appearing to be pedantic...;)

The reason why HDz did empty slips of BR2049 was because almost half of the steelbooks planned for the release, were badly damaged. 
That is why they are so rare. Because only 300 of them were made as opposed to the original plan of 500. 
I suppose that makes the empty slips rare too. :D

My feedback still stands....

Apollo 13 is really a classic movie, which surely deserves the premium treatment. Sad to see HDZeta having to cancel their plans for such a great movie, but utter garbage flicks get multiple editions from different retailers.

 

Sometimes, that really makes me wonder, what's the point in collecting anymore ...

I put myself to believe, that it's due to another copyright hassle in China - so no big reproaches towards HDZeta. But still sad sad sad to see.

As Nils wrote in the German area, hdzeta probably didn't get a steelbook. 🤔

 

What I don't understand now, then you buy the Steel somewhere else ..... or bring it out without Steel ...... or prescribe the thing for 4 months later ......
