Joe's Shanghai, best soup dumplings in NYC! That was the appetizer. Then we went to Hop Kee (my usual "go to" place) for the main courses

Wonderful, will have to try next time I’m in town. Usually visit NYC a few times a year. Used to live there and have many friends still there.

Can't really go too wrong. There are lots of great places in chinatown. I can also recommend a very small place called Wonton Noodle Garden for their amazing soups and fried chicken wings. In mid-town, Chef Yu is an excellent choice. Very nice and big place. Get the Shrimp Dumplings Szechuan Style 🤤

Although this is a rude depiction, it is accurate as to how I feel with all of the incredible food within reach at all times. I'm partial to halal food, specifically the original Halal Guys on 6th Ave and W 53rd St. I used to grab a sandwich before heading over to MoMA for movies.

Our very own UK Hubmaster Carl @blu.steel33 came to NYC for a visit last week. My wife and I had a really nice time with him and his wife, seeing some of the NYC sights and we ate some great food in Chinatown too.

Yesterday was a special day as I got to meet another dear friend, the lovely Marina  @Trianna (accompanied by her equally lovely mom).

After dropping off their luggage at the hotel, we set off for a nice stroll in Montmartre, taking a few pics and selfies, much to the delight of @thomue1987 😜

From there we continued on foot to the Champs-Elysées (quite a long walk) where we finally settled for dinner in a fine traditional brasserie.

Here you can see Marina contemplating from which angle to attack this aptly name 'floating island'

15 seconds later... that poor dessert never stood a chance 😅

Paris at night is really a sight to behold.
Accompanying the ladies back to the hotel through Place de l'Opéra.

He said Germany and Greece were the best places for clubbing and partying.

While France and Italy had the best food.

I know, mate.

My comment was meant to be lighthearted as its just a simple generalisation.

I'm sure the food and culture is fantastic in Germany as well.

I have a distant relative who moved to Germany with his family and they seem to be very happy there.
