Glad I waited to see art. That is super lame. And Arrow released a Limited Edition not too long ago, and Turbine (Germany) just did a gorgeous box set. 2 versions. This is not anywhere near as nice as any of those. Hard pass.

That's right, did not even think about that. Was more thinking, are these 2 different releases? There was 2 posts, Italy and UK saying #7, and this one saying #8. I figured was a mistake as it can't be 2 different ones. Thanks for pointing out. SO I am guessing the other 2 posts should be #8. All good.

Thank you for sharing. I ordered thru here. I agree and also glad I passed in Film Arena. Nice idea on swapping out for your steel, but I was not a huge fan of it either. I always liked the old UK Steel with Stripe on it. If III ever pick that one up for a decent price, I may do the same. Otherwise, this edition will work just fine. It's really nice.

Typically if they pause it, they will re open at some point, otherwise they would close it, so I think there is a really good chance you will be able to. Make sure you are getting notifications for it.

I have a hard time believing the ones that say they NEVER have received damaged, simply by how crappy they pack things, or how they don't pack things. I will have to look into the Group buy. Have not used it. Are referring to the UK one that can be anything, like HMV, etc. or is there a specific Zavvi one? I am thinking of this one "HMV [UK] GENERAL GROUPBUY THREAD". And I have used for HMV stuff and like you said, never received anything damaged. I have not thought of using it for Zavvi as the steelbooks go up for pre-order and then sells out same day, so much of the time, so I am afraid if I put in an order request, by the time they get to it, it will be sold out. In this case, I should use for the Gremlins one and should be ok. Thanks for the help.

True, but it will ship in a jiffy bag, so good chance it will still get destroyed. The 2 movie "IT" they just did was a pretty good hard box, and was dented to stop using inappropriate language. Had to spend 3 weeks to get a refund, and the item was still available but but he time their horrendous customer service began to o take seriously 4 messages later, it was no longer available by then. They suck so bad.

I received mine today and super disappointed. NO call girl. Damn. Well, it is gorgeous. I think HD Zeta and Film Arena will have a hard time topping this edition. But we'll see. i am open to getting them if they do and hopefully they all are different enough, but probably will all use the same art. As far as price, yes, I was super shocked to see how much the invoice was. They stated how much it was going to be and it turned out to be quite a bit more, and once you added in shipping and fees. Ouch. It was listed as 1088 cny, which should come in around $160-$165. It fluctuates. But it went up to $190? Oh well. It is what it is. Luckily it is beautiful, but I don't think ANYONE would ever pay $230 for it knowing it was all in going to be that high. And if you tried to sell it, you would NEVER get even close to what you paid for it. But I love it and feel it will be hard to beat. Thankful they were able to help get in a time where a lot of places are not shipping to US. I have ben trying to get a John Wick 3 Steelbook from Japan for 6 months. Nope. It will be gone soon, and that will be that. None on ebay the entire time either.

Nope. Was bummed till I saw art. Hideous and the whole round with the exception of Black Panther might be the worst ones they ever put out, even worse than the last round that was Italy exclusives. I thought those were awful and these are even worse. And to release Avengers again? They already did it. 2 in fact. Because it had a variant. Blufans exclusive. Mondo has really gone downhill. But there is a generic France group buy like the KMV UK one that you can request these. I saw someone mention it yesterday on one of these Mondo releases.

Yes, Best Buy has titles across the front. All other imports I have seen do not. Zavvi does not. Otherwise the rest are the same. Personally, I think it works better without the titles on the front if. you are going to make the images connect across all 3.
