  1. CM strikes again. People should stay well clear of this obvious Ponzi Scheme.
  2. I never said the WWA Steelbook was unofficial. The release however, I think is bootleg. Barbenheimer is simply not a thing that can be officially licensed, there are no officially licensed posters / screenprints, bath towels, pencil cases etc using Barbenheimer, not even under merchandise license without the added complexity of adding the actual movie and additional permission that takes. Filmarena had intense difficulty getting Predator released for exactly licensing issues, so it is a bad comparison to make because in the end they had to drop the discs in order to get it shipped, and Filmarena don't put an 80% uplift on the price. My point is that to pay 40 euro for a 2 WWA Steelbook, then put some fancy packaging around it (which is kinda ugly anyway imo) with questionable legitimacy and up the price by 80%, it is not a good look, but even then, if there is transparency from Raro that it is not official, then whatever if people really like it and want to spend 200 euro on it, no problem, at least they make an informed purchase.
  3. ah no, well I guess they have done the bare minimum by going to Amazon and ordering 100 WWA steelbooks rather than try to copy that too. 😄
  4. It's not bootleg movies, but I never said the movies were bootleg, the release is. And let's be fair, nobody is spending 200 euro for the WWA Steelbooks, it's the other stuff that grabs the attention. Bootleg is fine as fan projects; some people are into them, but it should be sold as such and priced accordingly otherwise you risk newbies being duped into thinking this is an official release, which it seems not to be. Raro should be more upfront on exactly what they are selling.
  5. Well, that pretty much confirms it then. Another bootlegger from Italy (where copyright lawyers seem to be asleep)
  6. Picture: Looking at all the wonderful Steelbooks you all order. Username: When my latest Zavvi shipment arrives.
  7. Steel looks great but I don't know about the slip. Bit average really.
  8. If they are doing a slip for each film, expect it to drop some time around 2030, pass.
  9. Just had to place an order myself. If you asked me ten years ago would I be spending £80+ on plastic boxes I'd call you crazy but here I am. Thankfully shipping is not too bad in the UK, shipped today and should be here tomorrow!
  10. The MantaLab ones from SteelbookCentral fit, bit of extra room in there but not huge amounts.
  11. Would be good to see if they do other TOC steels out there, hopefully some embossing on them. I like some of the TOC steels, V for Vendetta being my favourite but can't be dealing with those plastic boxes and trinkets.
  12. Thank you, managed to order one after missing out on the group buys. Still rather new to all this! Got The Matrix too direct the other week, will be doing group buys on the other so I don't miss out!
  13. I was clearly talking about THIS 4K Hot Fuzz Steelbook pictured above, not a completely different Hot Fuzz Steelbook... You need me to draw a diagram? They never released a 4K of any film in the Cornetto Trilogy apart from Shaun of the Dead.
