    @Veum Amarays get opened. Most boutiques do not—Vinegar, BU, KL, etc. Steels, premiums, and special editions also do not. I only buy 4k UHDs and my new AppleTV streams surprisingly well. I don’t have a BD collection so a lot of movies I want to watch have to be streamed. Do you open everything in your pics? Even premiums?

    I agree with everyone in here—lazy design etc. But, I will likely buy all of these. The collecting part w/a special line of 4k UHD Disney steels excitites me more than debossing would. My movies are never opened, so I guess that makes me a different kind of collector than most in here.

    Wrong spot I’m sure, but went for Untouchables and grabbed all 3 Godfather steels for $50.

    In fairness, I’ve also been tracking these since the full slip was announced. Two have gone in the $400 range and one for less than $300. I know that seller too. He’s a good dude and a fellow Psycho.

    Will this bad boy be a 4k UHD? @deckard99 @Scary Hair * Nvmd. Quick scan of the ones sold on eBay are def 4k UHDs. Just that the GB title doesn’t say 4k. Gave me pause. I’m popping now.

    Thanks for the info. I’ve never collected Criterion before. I only collect 4k UHDs, so I guess I’ll be starting. Couple question if you don’t mind. 1. Any benefit to buying early? Like a slipcover or special booklet or anything? 2. You say they don’t really sell out, but can you be more specific? Has there been a release that did? Have you ever waited for the sale and regretted that? Do they usually stay in stock for say, a year? I’ll leave my noob questions at that for now. Thanks in advance for any answers.
