  1. I received this today. A contender for release of the year for sure. Amazing package.
  2. I'm sorry to ask this here, but was the invoice for this sent? This is my first group buy on this site, so I'm not sure how this works. Does the invoice have to be paid somewhere on this site, or will it be sent directly to my PayPal address?
  3. Yeah, the reason I know about The Horse Thief is because of that Scorsese-Ebert clip that I watched on Youtube, which has unfortunately been taken down since. I was kind of hoping that the short segment where Scorsese picks it as his best would be added as an extra on this blu ray, but there are probably some rights issues preventing that. There are two Scorsese-recommended world cinema films that blew me away with striking images: The Horse Thief and a film from Mali called Yeelen. I am thrilled that The Horse Thief is getting released on blu ray, and hopefully Yeelen will get a release in the future as well.
  4. Amazing news! Very special and unique movie. This will be my first group buy here. Hope the pre-order link is up soon.
  5. Wow, such classy packaging. This kind of wooden packaging would work really nicely with the western genre films.
  6. Thank you very much, everyone. This forum seems like a nice place and I like the whole group buy concept you have going on.
  7. I think that the safest way to store easily accessible and ready to open steelbooks is to use gaming towers made for PS4 or Xbox One whose cases have the same dimensions as a steelbook. As long as they don't have metal dividers. Here is how I stored mine for years and none of them have any scratches: ' It is a wooden tower, but has plastic dividers that are impossible to scratch a steelbook with. It also has holes in it, so that you can hang it on a wall, as long as you make sure the metal screw doesn't stick out and touches the steelbooks: I imagine it also works with wooden dividers like this: But of course, if you don't mind storing steelbooks in a plastic case, you can store them vertically, next to each other on a shelf. I don't find dust to be a problem with scratching steelbooks by the way.
  8. Some great steelbooks in here. I don't know what my most expensive one is. I have a couple of old OOP Zavvis that might go for around $100 on eBay. I don't know how much the old Japanese Terminator 2 steelbook is worth now, but it used to be expensive before. My most expensive overall might be a video game one - The Last of Us Remastered German steelbook.
  9. These look great. But I'm not sure how the packaging works. Is it a cardboard case that is covered with a layer of leather? Also, does anyone know if the leather is genuine, or whether it's imitation leather?
